The Casa Saudade in detail
The "Casa Saudade" is the original stable of the property and today a small luxury house that was completely restored as an architect's cottage in 2019. The view of the garden is breathtaking.
The original structure of the house was retained during the restoration. A Bedroom is downstairs with a double bed and air conditioning, the other upstairs has two single beds.The upper room is accessed via the original old stone staircase and has a balcony, from which you can see the sea on a clear day. The beautiful new bathroom is equipped with two sinks and a shower with a view, the toilet is separate, a washing machine is also part of the equipment.
Die spacious open kitchen ulfills all requirements for hobby cooks: an oven under the old fireplace, stove, dishwasher. The spacious living room has ab air conditioning for cooling or heating in winter, a sofa and a dining table. The whole house is equipped with new terracotta floors from Santa Catarina which alone creates a wonderful atmosphere.
Directly in front of the house is your private courtyard with its own terrace, a cozy hammock area under the fig tree and a large open-air double bed, so that you can sleep under the unique starry sky on mild nights. Since Casa Saudade does not have its own pool, we built an outdoor shower to refresh yourself on hot Algarve summer days.
